I have tried Rimonabant, but it really didn't work for me. But I guess every ones system is different.
What works for some, may not work for others. |

I have found it to have mild appetite suppression, but not enough to lose weight. Overall it's disappointing. I used generic rimonabant but haven't determined if that's the problem. |

The branded type "accomplia" did work for me.
a generic type, rimonabant, also tried, did not work. |

Rimonabant has not been designed specifically as a weight loss drug but actually as a drug that reduces cardiovascular events such as strokes, heart attacks and even death. It is just a positive side effect that it sometimes causes weight loss.
There is also the fact that this drug is still in trialling and if you were on it during trial phases you may have been on the placebo. An added bonus of rimonabant is that it is showing a decrease is smoking |
