I just faxed my ID to the office on Monday (7/14) after I paid my registration fee on Sunday...any idea if I might be getting my RX in the mail still (I'm in a state that requires a written scrip, no call-ins)?

I seem to be inside and outside of two different time frame windows here...of course, no one answers the phone at the office and the website hasn't changed, so I don't know what to expect. I guess I'll wait it out and see what happens with my CC.

I read the email and it just seems like to me that this DEA "agent" has stepped way over the line using threats with no basis of fact.
Threatening him with five years of prison if he does not surrender his DEA license right then?
Where I come from, That is extortion and at the very least blackmail.
Has the Texas heat fried her brain?
That is a decision that is suppose to be left up to our judicial system not some rank DEA agent who is obviously wet behind the ears..
He has had no fatalities, No reprimands. The slate is clean! and that is in the printed word of the State of Texas.

Dr. B even offered her all the emails of support and she wanted nothing to do with any rebuttal he may have had supporting his claim, which tells me she has an agenda that isnt necessarily in favor of the real law.
This agent is playing "Prosecutor, Judge and Jury all at once! That sends up red flags too.
I don't know, Something does not feel right about this.
Its all very surreal.
It looks to me like this has all transpired from someone who knew exactly who to report him to and exactly what the outcome would be, someone with something to gain by getting Dr. B out of the way.
With all the frauds out there I sure do hope our beloved Dr. Branch checked this "agents" credentials, Maybe someone should investigate her.
After all, She does now have his DEA license in her possesion.

I am devastated that this happened to Dr. B & staff. They must have a lot of hard evidence and maybe disgruntled former patients willing to testify against him. Obviously the medical board took no issue with his online weight loss program, but the DEA did.

I bet the prices that these other guys charge us is going to skyrocket! Just great...like they weren't high enough already along with sending us fake or expired pills for our hard earned dollars.

I completed by progress note on July 14. Nothing has been called in yet. I wonder what will happen? Anyone fill it out the same day also?

It's obvious something was up...first my call, then this. OH MY GOD, do u think it was these A**holes here???????????????? I mean I got the call about a month ago??? I would feel sooo bad...that would be terrible. Can we find out who called it in?? Oh my god, if it was that stupid chick and that dumb ass pharmacist here, that would be sick.

Would the DEA actually go through all that trouble from 1 person in PA or do you think this was something that has been going on?

I know when I first moved to PA, I was looking for a diet dr. (in NJ, they are soo easy to find...I know a few) anyway, i found this dr. in pittston, and i was going to him, he would take ur blood pressure and give u the pills right then and there..cost about $60. Then all of the sudden, i got a phone call from the office and they said that he was in trouble with the law and not to come back...sure enough this dr. (who was about 70 years old, no lie) was on the news getting arrested.....I could not believe it...but my moral to the story was, this dr. was selling them right from his office...dr. b was actually calling them into a pharmacy...i just can't understand the logic??

I explained to my mom what was going on and she thinks that cause dr. b was charging us money and not actually seeing us, that they consider it a "scam" and they would also consider that absuing his license, but if he did video consulations, this may have been avoided.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever met dr. B? I just wish things were easier for us...this just plain as english..SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

I am frothing at the mouth right now!!! I had about another week to go before I got my refill from D.B and now this.... what am I supposed to do!! I have been doing so well on the D.B thing, lost 30lbs (240 now 210) no problems at all. What am I to do? Can anyone help me... please pm to help out. I am in tears right now.... I can see myself gain that 30lbs right back!!!!

So maybe that girl who called me a month ago was warning me? maybe they knew he was being investigated? I dunno, this is all soo crazy!!!! I am just worried about what to do now...I mean the "others" prices are soo much higher. Hi, I have been hanging out here and reading all your posts since, Oh my goodness, the latter of 2007.
I have followed all of your very interesting postings and am looking forward to chatting with some of you.
I did not enroll initially due to feeling too committed, However, since this Dr. B thing I have felt that I should give some input on my exoerience with him, I have lost as you can see quite a bit of weight, and I have to give a great part of the credit to Dr. B and his phen/pro combo
It saddens me that he has lost the ability to help us all due to some spoil sport who I seriously doubt has had any experience with him or phentermine at all.
I had spoken with a medical personnel at his office yesterday morning, The lady confirmed the e-mail that I had received was indeed true.
However, right off She "indicated" that Dr. would not be able to provide pain medications any longer due to the DEA visit, Which I found strange because I am on the phen/pro.
I relayed to her that I am a phen/pro patient and I could not believe someone turned on him for a simple schedule IV medication, she said Oh, he cannot prescribe that either.
So, I am not so sure this is about phentermine.
I think the post above is so true, He is a very dedicated compationate man who was doing what he believed in.
Too bad someone or something had to interfere with his quest to help others.
It is my feeling that we have not seen the last of Dr. B., He does not strike me as someone who will be defeated.
The saying: You cannot keep a good man down, comes to mind.
In my heart, Dr. B is the very definition of a finephysician and a true gentleman.

Hey all,

I am new to posting on this forum, but have visited this site for a while and actually heard aboout Dr Branch from it and signed up with his program. I was doing so well and now that he is gone i don't know what I am going to do.

Everyone on this site probably knows how crappy it feels to be stuck at a certain weight, hell, I stopped going to see old friends because i could only imagine what they were thinking. Yeah I know I shouldn't let the size of my butt affect my outlook on life but as it started to shrink the improvement of my attitude was definatly inflated.

So now what? I know that someone was compiling a list of pharmacies. There was a long list of bad ones and a few which were legit and info was all from trial and error. So is this what we are left with? I know I can't afford another 400.00 in fake pills from scam pharmacies. Was Dr B really the only one? Maybe someone will fill the gap. Everone seems to be getting paranoid but I don't think DEA found out about Dr B from these forums. I got his email too and it sounded like he was doing a self check of his compliance in order to avert any major legal problems. Anyway I am sure it wouldn't hurt to be prudent about information but I hope that just because I am new I won't get left out in the cold.

I am going to check on Phentermine.com forum and see what they have to say (I am an old reader/new member there too--I never join these things cause i am a crappy typer and a bad speller and bad spelling drives me nuts, so i spend too much time spell checking and "hunt and pecking".)
