Should we try to conceal our sources so they don't get busted too?
Yes, probably a good idea.

Then we better get ready for the posts to start rolling in if that's the only 2 times you are going to share.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting your reply, but it seems to me that Deebee's 2 reasons for posting are the right ones. As a long time member at Topix all I can say is when you start posting for other reasons it doesn't ever stop! Shame on you
Hey fatbgone, is that any way to welcome a new member? This woman is up to her eyeballs in knowledge about phen and dieting in general, AND has recently fasted for 5 days successfully (I've never been able to complete one)
WELCOME TO W-L-F deebee!

Deebee,

You fasted for 5 days? How did you feel during the fast? Would you recomend it? Do you also use the weight loss supplements?

Oh and WELCOME! Smile

Hi Portly Very Happy
I wouldn't recommend it. I did it out of desperation and I took a lot more phen then you're supposed to. I felt kind of weak , and at times nauseous. I lost 4 lbs., but I wouldn't do it that way again.
I used to take some OTC supplements like 5htp, chromium, B12 , but I never felt that different when I took them.

Thanks for the welcome Very Happy

Oops. Confused I'd already posted this reply to explain, but it seems like everyone might have missed it in the next few quote backs, because it wasn't included in any of them. Thought I'd re-post it in case it had been overlooked. Wink
Fasted for 5 days?? Shocked That's a really long time. I'm not sure if that is even healthy. I'm not surprised deebee felt sick. I have fasted for a 24 or even a 36 hour period, but it was extremely difficult for me.
I'll look forward to reading deebee's post. She seems to join us very highly recommended by some of you! Smile

I'm sorry if you misinterpreted my reply.
I'm not sure about topix, your reference to it, or membership there.
I just thought deebee's post was curious, that's all. I didn't mean to offend you.
Maybe I'm misinterpreting your reply, but it seems to me that you are accusing me of something, but I'm not really sure what it might be.
Again, I'm sorry if you misinterpreted my reply to deebee, or if my reply to deebee offended you.
I'm just like everyone else here that's afraid sources are drying up, and we'll all be meeting up with each other in the drive-thru.

That sounds about the way I thought you might feel.
I don't know how you lasted 5 days!
You were drinking liquids hopefully.?
I have seen other posts of people that say the OTC supplements really work, but I have used Chronium Picolinate, Hoodia, and a bunch of others that didn't do much for me either. If I add it while on Phen it just makes me jittery.
Thanks for the information. Smile .

Another Texas newbie here- but I have been a lurker for quite some time! I *was* one of Dr. B's patients and I am scared to death when my RX runs out (2 more weeks Crying or Very sad ). I, too, have ordered from the foreign places and usually ended up with fake or reduced strength pills. I was so happy when I found Dr B, but now that is no longer an option. I felt so much safer with going to my local pharmacy and purchasing them. My Dr. won't prescribe diet pills, especially now that I am in normal weight range. Rolling Eyes

I hate that Dr. B was treated so bad and it is unfair to so many of us. I never thought of the possible withdrawel symptoms of the prozac. YIKES!

Thanks for all of the great advice many of you have.

Another long-time lurker, both here, dogbuyers, and at Topix, although I never find anything at Topix these days except for a lot of arguing back and forth over non-related issues, and lots of mentions of some mysterious "cookie buyers MySpace club" or something like that, that you have to be invited to join. I haven't posted much in the past, mostly because I don't really have anything to add--no secret sources or anything like that, since I have been using pilldusters and america-pills like everyone else. I did use my-guy successfully as well, but not since he's gone to COD only, as it's hard to be home for the delivery guy with my work schedule.

I also got the e-mails from Dr. Limb; I signed up before I realized that he didn't prescribe to my state, and then I just never got off the e-mail list. I'm quite saddened that he's been shut down. And infuriated that, with all the problems facing the US, that time and resources are being wasted on this. I'm also furious about the very paternalistic tone that the government seems to have. I'm an intelligent, educated adult, and should be allowed to make decisions for myself. I don't need to be "saved" from the drug boogeyman. By my thinking, the government is actually increasing the danger by closing down legitimate, trustworthy sources.

So, here I am, officially delurking to become part of the community, in the hopes that we can help each other out.

(PS: and now I've had to open up a new account so I don't remember the username and password I was using before, so I'm looking fishier than ever.) Smile

I've never written in to this forum, but I've been reading for several months. And I got "the email." For four months, I didn't have to mess around with rip-offs, fakes, and all of the crap. I had a real doctor, I went to a real pharmacy, and I had a sense of calm.

I've had an eating disorder for 25 years. It started when I was 15--hard-core bulimia for 10 years. Then I was given phentermine (adipex back then) and I finally was able to control my impulsive eating--but I felt pretty awful. I went back and forth between adipex and bulimia until phen-phen came out. I got to a comfortable (not anorexic) weight, stopped throwing up, ate extremely healthy food, and was very athletic and fit.

-Just FYI: I did try therapy a few times. It did not help. I truly believe eating problems are, like alcoholism, a disease.

We all know what happened with phen-phen, so I was back to square one. Did the whole mail/rip-off thing, got very heavy, started losing teeth from the bulimia and was flat-out miserable. When I read about His program, I signed up. I've been losing weight and feeling extremely balanced, controlled, and calm. Now--flat cold--I am back to not only suffering my "disease," but also dealing with what apparently is not a terribly good thing to do: quitting fluxotene cold-turkey. I mean, are they kidding? It says in every medical description for this substance that stopping immediately can bring about depression and suicidal thoughts! How then can an Agency working in "our best interests" take action to put us all in danger of these very common effects of stopping cold rather than tapering off? I've never read anything bad about His program, and an awful lot of people were improving their health because of Him. Now all of those people are subject to depression, heart palpitations, and suicide? Would He have ever had us stop this way? If what he was doing was not "legal," it seems the Agency would have at least allowed him to see that his patients ceased using his formula in a safe and effective manner--that is, if they even CARED about us!

I am angry and disgusted! I was doing nothing criminal. Simply trying to conquer a problem I've suffered my whole life with little or no help available.

It is a shame and I know the frustration you all feel. Good luck.
I HOPED YOU FEEL GOOD SOON. MY FREN GUMBEE LOSED HER TEETHES TO. SHE TAKED PILL SHE GET AT STORE AN SHE TAKED PILL WIT MORE PILL AN OUT FALL HER TEETHS! Shocked

My eyes hurt of reading so much but I haven't found out anything about where else to go. Will someone please send me a pm or email me at dances75@yahoo.com with any information. Thanks a lot in advance. Take care.
