Nevmarie, I really appreciate that 
I really do feel that we need to band together and keep it cool at least with each other because this is a really nice forum and the nice people are what makes it that way.
Of course there will be a few of these That will pop in from time to time.
I think maybeeee they may be drifting from over at topix?  I am not sure though. |

Hi everyone!
I wasn't gonna post on this subject again, becuz its kinda been beaten to death..sorta.
But- I ws going over my emails & came across the Dr. B DEA thing,
I gotta admit that I skimmed over it the 1st time when it first came in, but I noticed that it says that it says like this:

Dear , It is with gret regret that I must inform you....that as a result of an inspection at my own request of my weight
loss medical facility located in Dallas and my progressive approach
to the threatment of obesity through the use of my website at
www.absolutelythin.com and the Internet that the representative of the Drug
Enforcement Administration demanded that I immediately surrender
my Drug Enforcement Administration License.
I dont get that, from how it reads here it sounds like he asked them to come there.
Thats confusing & a little weird  .
why would he do that? 
What does anyone else think that this is strange? |

Yes, i that is very strange that he requested it. Maybe he felt like he had to before he got into trouble?
I too am very upset about this as i've been on his program since Dec and have been doing very well........ |

Damn, lol you are right! I checked it again and that is exactly what it said.
He "requested" them to come there. WTH?

Hi everyone....Well I too was using Dr B's program and have been doing really good with it since January....I sure hate to see this happen, He was the only place I could afford,  I cant imagine why he would call them himself, just doesnt sound right .....sure wish it wasn't so hard to find a good program. Well I am new in here and I hope to get to chat with everyone soon.... |

| I think it is kind of strange that there isn't anything anywhere stating he has had his dea registration taken away. Of course I hope he didn't get it revoked!.....but if what he said is true, it would have been on the dea site, or the texas department of public safety site. Maybe he is letting something blow over????? and will return! |

Although he has had an license to be an insurance salesman since 1997 it seems has has just decided to start a new business in the financial services field. Guess that is why he gave it up so easy. See the link below. I used to be in the financial services field doing marketing for financial advisors so it was actually funny to me that I came across this because this website set up is very familiar to those in financial services marketing. I wish him luck with his new adventure.....

My understanding of that statement was referring to the reason he asked us to email our experiences to him.
He was gathering as much information as possible then inviting them to read the emails and look at the evidence of successful weight loss examples and happy patients. Plus he had nothing to hide.
I think it back fired on him.
They weren't interested. Their minds were already made up.  |

I have not been here for a while because I work 16 hours a day 6 days a week, got today off sick.
but anyway I got an email from Dr. Branch yesterday saying something about getting this corrected, Sounds like Little Mrs. DEA was out of bounds.
Anyone else get an email like this? |

| Sure would be nice if he was just letting something "blow over" It was nice to KNOW you were getting the real thing since you actually had to go pick it up from your own ph........I have no idea what to do now....its just hard to trust these other places and there are a ton of them but they cost so dang much......ugh!! |
