Phen and Sleep |
|
|
Hey everyone. This is my first post but I have pm'd a few people and they were extremely helpful in their responses. So thank you, thank you thank you!
After reading through the posts these last few days I think it is wonderful that there are so many encouraging people out there. Sometimes it feels like I am alone in the weight loss world. It is nice to know there are others out there. It is the main reason I joined this forum. First time I felt I could "talk" about phen with anyone without being judged. I am very grateful for that.
Anyway, today was my first phen in a few months and now I am back to the same old question of how do I get to sleep? In the past, I have tried Xanax in the evening and that seemed to work, but I was curious if anyone else had any ideas? What have other's done to get a good night's sleep?
Also, to give back to the forum a little. I have done a brief google on the Fastin that seems to come up now during every 'buy phentermine' search. It seems that HiTech purchased the name and it is now non prescription. It looks like it has the same mood elevating compound in it as Dren (another OTC weight loss) - b-m-PABA (I won't even try to spell it). I tried Dren and it did kill my hunger and made me happy-loopy (not looking to be loopy at work), so I gave it to a guy at the gym. Anyway, I have not tried the HiTech Fastin and not sure if I will, it seems expensive. But I did consider it when I was out of phen. So anyhow, fyi.
Anyhow, I think you ladies (and guys) on the forum are wonderful people. Keep doing what you are doing, your awsome!
Thanks from a newbie

| You could look into Melatonin. Generally I take it about 30 minutes before going to bed. It seems to help. You might also consider having your cookie earlier in the day. I have mine as soon as I get out of bed in the morning. |

| I take Xanax too - just a half which equates to about 2.5mg. So I am not too worried. |

| I take a small dose of nighttime cold syrup if I really need to get to bed. It sucks because I always feel super cranky the next morning. |

| I like Ambien CR because it doesn't make me drowsy the next morning but 1mg or even just .5mg of Xanax will make me go night-night even faster I think. |

| I know I shouldn't but count me as another one who will take a gulp of Nyquil and then try to read a little. Usually works in 10-15 minutes. Advil or Tylenol PM does not work on me. I do hate taking Nyquil because if (or when) I do get a bad cold, it will probably not work on me as well as it used to. |

Fast2Sleep |
|
|
My husband told me that you all were having problems sleeping and did not want to take any type of medicine. I have had trouble sleeping for many years, tried Fast2sleep and slept like a baby. It is a ALL natural alternative and he has nothing to gain by you trying it...he was just trying to enlighten.
It sounds like some of you really don't have an open mind and are NOT really looking for a natural alternative...if that is the case...keep taking the man made stuff....I just know one thing...God created our bodies to heal themselves but with all the pollutants and such out there our bodies need a little help.
