i was wondering the same thing because my mother keeps telling me that im loosing my weight to fast i lose about 3-5 pounds a week is it safe??? i know that it is inches too but i was just wondering.

recommended weight loss is .5 to 2 lbs per week. An occasional 5 lbs I wouldn't worry about if you are consistenly losing 5 lbs per week you are most likely losing muscle as well as fat.
