Naormon, meet Baglady. Baglady, meet Naormon. LOL! Gurl, we have got to hang out because you are not alone. I also stand at least a foot taller than everyone when I go to the asian markets. More fun for me! Wink

I wish I could at least say that I stood a foot taller, but I'm pretty much average as far as Asians go. Sad At least if I was tall, I could blame my weight on being taller. Smile

To Naormom:

Do not despair! There is huge pressure in Asia for women to be small and thin. In America, well, the first concern is to be "healthy". The good thing is that healthy comes in many sizes.

I am of Italian descent, and I can tell you a thing or two about cultural eating!!! I always put pressure on MYSELF to not become what I so have the potential to become: very heavy. When I was preganant my first time at age 33, I went berserk and gained 70 lbs. The 2nd time, at age 38, I gained 50 lb. I swore I would get the lard off me immediately both times, and I did. Now, however, at age 46, I have to watch for the slow creep up of pounds, because then, before I know it, I have 20 lbs. on me.

Hi...My name is Lisa and I'm from Indiana. I am new to the forum. I did use Dr. B for a few month with great success. Now he is out of business and I am stuck!! I pm a few people hoping to find some reliable information but no one with respond. I know that its because I'm new to the site! This is something very new to me. So, I would love to talk to some of you. I am very nervous to order from just anyone "not sure what I will get". I called Dr. B office last week hoping he could give me some info on a reliable source. The receiptionist is the one that recommended this site. Looking foward to meeting some new friends.

That is puzzling if he is out of business, I'm puzzled why his receptionist answered the phone? Confused That is very peculiar.

Hi Joannew. Babyfat suks big time. I know they always want you to gain weight for a "reserve", but where the heck are we, on the prairie? Not surprised about your husband losing weight via low carb. Many years ago I lost 35lbs from February through May. I used the Stillman Diet. This is pretty drastic, but you can lose 3lbs every 2 days. You can have unlimited amounts of meat, poultry, fish, shellfish, and eggs. You can use ketchup, mustard, worchestershire sauce, spices. No cheese, veggies, fruit, alcohol, milk (back then I didn't drink coffee, so np). You have to drink at least 8 glasses of liquid (water, diet soda, coffee or tea with nondairy creamer). This has to do with your body burning fat, and ketosis. It's very important. I did cheat though. I went off it every Friday morning, and went back on after dinner Sunday night. But it was easy to stay on at the time. I'd just snack on rolled up cold cuts with mustard. I found I had alot of energy on this diet, and in genral, for my system, I do better on mostly protein.

Now, this does me no good, as I've been vegitarian for 20 years, and even if I blew up ginormous, couldn't bring myself to eat meat again.

I do have a local Dr. who prescribes phentermine, but he only practices locally, charges $60.00 per visit, and now has decreased the strenght of the 14 phentermine he dispenses (from 37.5 to 15mg) every 2 weeks. That's like nothing for big money. So I'm shopping around, too. Will let you know if i find anything.

Thought I would introduce myself properly. I am Joanne, I recently had my second and last daughter. I need to lose about 40 pounds! Yikes! Pregnancy was not kind to my body. I used phen in the past with good results. My appetite is a huge hinderance for me, which is why I believe phen helps so much. Just takes that edge off, ya know? But unfortunately, my doctor (who specializes in weight loss) won't prescribe phen. He would rather sell me a bunch of diet supplements instead. I do exercise, it's hard with the two small kids but I walk everyday. The hardest part is, my hubby just got to his goal weight through low carb dieting. I am proud of him. He is a big meat eater so it was a cinch for him. I am not a big fan of meat and I have tried the low carb, just too hard for me. I don't like the food well enough. Anyway, my point is that now my husband is hotter than ever and I am still the overweight wife. I want to get my body back for myself first, but would like to be thin for him, too. And most of all, healthy for my kids. I have called doctors out of the phone book and none prescribe phentermine. So I am here, digging through archives, hoping to find somewhere to buy it and not get ripped off. If anyone feels like messaging me with any info, I would be soooo thankful. On the other hand, I do understand that I am "new" and there is no trust built yet. So, that's basically my story. Nice to meet you all!

Joanne

Hello everyone. A little background 1st. I was in the Baltimore/DC area for 5 years and had no problem ordering cookies. I moved back home and when they ran out I had a hard time with orders, 1 rip off and another that at least returned my money. I now have scammers who call my phone every month like clockwork.
I used this forum to find Dr B which helped for 2 months but that's no longer an option. So now I'm reading posts and trying to find my way again. It is nice to have a place to camisorate and people who have the same goals of loosing weight and getting control of our appetites.
Anyhow, Hello Everyone! Smile

Hi my name is Lisa, I am going to be 40 in two weeks. I have been married for 20 years and have three amazing teenagers. I also live in a very small town in Indiana. With that all being said...I have been looking at this forum for awhile trying to get some reliable sources. I too did use Dr. B, but now in a rut! I started phen this past March and lost 20lbs. I couldn't believe it! I now have 20lbs more to lose. I am afraid to order from just anyone not sure what I will get! So I am hoping that someone would please pm me and give me some infomation. It seems like there are alot of people that have some very good information. Hopefully I can then help someone else. Please contact me.
Looking foward in meeting some new friends!
Lisa

Hi! I've been lurking for a couple of days. I actually have an order of "cookies"(?) on the way that I ordered from a seller on ioffer. The seller has a lot of positive feedback and and the item is sealed blister-packs of a reputable brand, but it was mailed from Asia, so I'll find out in a couple of weeks if I have been ripped off. If the source turns out to be good, I will definitely share it. I've had good results with phen in the past, so I'm hopeful. After I had my first two sons, the weight came off relatively quickly and I was back to my usual weight by their first birthdays. After my third son was born...um..is it still considered "baby weight" when the baby is 4yrs. old? I just want to wear my favorite jeans again. That's all I want.Smile

Well, I'm 33, and my mom claims to still be trying to work off the weight she gained w/ me. LOL. If she can say it, than so can you!

I truly wonder if the Hollywood starlets who lose all the baby weight they've gained 6 weeks after birth really *are* just dieting and working out like crazy...It doesn't seem mathematically possible to burn that many calories/create such a calorie deficit to achieve such results in the timeframe.

Hi Sugar,
I think these so called weight loss
"miracles" Those celebrities don't
"work out" They get "knocked out"
with liposuction or something else!

You are right, There is no way they
can lose it that fast without some sort
of drug or surgical intervention.
They are probably on the hard stuff if its drugs
.
